Ad Space Terms & Conditions

Introduction

These terms apply to any business, seller or individual ("Advertiser") booking paid ad space on Tamale Marketplace ("the Platform"). Booking an ad slot means you accept these terms in full.

Content standards

Your banner and its linked page must not contain: illegal goods or services; adult, violent, or hateful content; misleading claims (fake discounts, fabricated urgency, impersonation of another business); malware, phishing, or scam links; or content promoting a directly competing general marketplace.

Banner requirements

Banners must fit the placement's dimensions and file-size limit shown on the booking form. Submitting an image that doesn't meet these limits will be rejected automatically before it reaches review.

Review and approval

Every booking is reviewed manually against your Mobile Money payment reference before it goes live. The Platform may reject a booking that fails these standards; rejected bookings are not charged further, but the original payment must be resolved directly with the Advertiser as no automated refund is issued through the Platform.

Suspension and cancellation

The Platform may suspend or cancel an active ad at any time, without prior notice, if it is later found to violate these terms, receives credible abuse reports, or is being used in a way that harms other users of the Platform. A suspended ad stops displaying immediately. Repeated violations may result in the Advertiser's seller account being suspended in addition to the ad itself. Suspension for a violation does not entitle the Advertiser to a refund or a replacement booking.

Payment

Ad space is currently paid manually via Mobile Money as instructed on the booking form. You are responsible for entering an accurate transaction reference — bookings with unverifiable references will not be approved.

No guarantee of results

The Platform does not guarantee any specific number of views, clicks, or sales from a booked ad.
